Colourpop- Sol & Mar | Swatches

October 26, 2018

When Colourpop first released the Sol & Mar palettes, I think I came across it on accident while idly browsing their website one day. Of course, the set immediately captured my attention, so once again, I did as I always do; I threw my money their way.

It has obviously been quite some time since first receiving both my Sol & Mar eyeshadow palettes (the first of which to be in a plastic component and include a mirror, if I'm not mistaken...), so I have had ample time to play around with them and form some general opinions. But in true Hannah-fashion, this post, containing swatches of both palettes, is decades late (*shocker*).

But I shall save you from further disappointment by just carrying on. So, below you can find my realistic swatches of both the Sol & Mar palettes. As always photos of my swatches have not been edited or retouched in any capacity. My swatches were photographed under natural daylight, against my medium olive skin, without the aid of artificial lighting (I also included photos of swatches using "flash"). If you guys are interested in seeing my swatches, then just keep on scrolling! :)

Because I have had ample time to play around with both palettes and see how each shadow performs, I will be sharing my full thoughts in a later post (makeup looks included, of course!). Be sure to "Subscribe" to my blog so you don't miss out on that post or any others!

And as always, I am curious to know your thoughts on either of these palettes. Which palette is your favourite? What are some of your favourite shadows to use? Are their any shadows you think they could have done without in a palette? Be sure to let me know your thoughts!

xoxo
